Our firm, with heritage dating back to 1900, has gathered over 100 years of longstanding credibility, integrity and good reputation as lawyers within the Sydney and rural districts in New South Wales.
The origins of our firm lie with Alphonse H. Crawley, who practiced as a solicitor for 60 years in Junee and Sydney. He retired at the age of 86 years old in 1960 as the oldest practising solicitor in Australia.
One of his six children, Aubrey F. Crawley, established the firm in Sydney in 1947 having served in the Australian Infantry Forces during WWII. Aubrey continued to practice as a Sole Practitioner and was active in the firm until 1974.
Christopher W. Crawley, the firm's now Principal, embarked on an expansion of the firm in 1974. He secured clientele with major lending corporations, building societies, international computer and intellectual property companies, property developers including both large corporate and individual builders, and all areas of the liquor licensing industry.
The firm also, as a result of the practice in these areas, has attracted and continues to attract substantial individual clientele. |
